Hello Module one friends!!
Hope you all are working seriously towards the task...
I am trying to work on AOLs  for the last few days..trust me this process requires lot of time and I am trying to squeeze at least 3 hours a day out of my busy schedule.  Can anyone tell me as to how to get notification when someone writes /comment on MAPP blog?

As I am focusing on the Areas of Learning, I feel I am deviating my views towards reflection of learning..cant really understand the difference between the two.  Did anyone managed to read books which are listed for our reference?  I read few chapters from "Reflective practice" its very helpful. do share your views. Thanks

  1. Hi Hope you are well?

Yes, I am also working towards AOL titles and I agree it takes a lot of time. I don't know how to get notifications for the MAPP blog, I find I am just learning my way through the online system, but hopefully will work it out soon enough!

As far as I can gather, we find different areas of learning that we have noticed from annotating our CV and then reflect on these areas. For example, one of my areas I think will be formative and summative assessment as I notice I am constantly assessing my learners whether this be in class, at the end of class or for their projects and assignments and I found it a regular occurrence that I am always assessing them! Then I will reflect on this more focussing on experiential learning such as Kolb, Moon to help me to reflect! Do you know what areas you are looking at yet?

Yes the books certainly are helpful but I must do more reading!!

  2. Hi Dear,
After my CV, I worked on my AOLs Title, Adesola helped me. She helped me to watch my CV as an outsider"bird's eye view". This aspect opened my mind. I wrote about my experiences, what I have learnt and how. So I am focusing on experiental learning as well. If you found out your AOLs title I think, just start to write about your experience. You will realise many areas of learning. I hope it will be ok.

  5. Hi ladies, I had my skype meeting last Saturday and since then have been sat down just trying to reflect on them (AOL). It´s already Wednesday evening, and I haven´t even started to write them yet (although I´m only writing drafts first). Is is just me or is anybody else having an emotional journey? it´s hard reflecting and realising the mistakes I´ve made. I´m glad I´ve made them, because I believe I had to in order to better myself, but it´s tough! Hope everybody is well! By the way before you publish your reply, on the right hand side it says "notify me". I think that is a way to get replies to this post at least. Samantha
