Yesterday's discussion with Adesola has given me great ideas as to what could be my Areas of Learning (AOL). Focusing on past expereinces this is what I come up with!!
Tittles for my AOL are
1. "Start from the scratch"...Starting my dance classes in a new Geographic area,exploring various unknown facts..learning from my mistakes, consciously looking for opportunities to show my skills, being humble to ask help and suggestions from those who are already establsihed in the field of dance, performing for charity events to gain some contacts.
2. Finding ways to teach Indian dance to different cultured background ..encouraging to learn this temple art as Indian dances are mostly based on story telling..Bharatnatyam being an a Visual poetry.
3.Diversity and communication Strategy...How best can I communicate to my students, as sometimes we don't get exact translation to our mother tongue language.
4. Implementing my commerce knowledge to startup my dance class..working out of the logistics space availablity.
5.Organising /performing events..managing the stage lighting and costumes make-up and other aesthetics required for the show.
